I am pleased to announce some very exciting news - Perpetuelle.com has partnered with TheTimeTV.com, the first themed television channel for watchmaking enthusiasts and professionals, to bring you exciting videos about new products, interviews, and other watch-related insights!  TheTimeTV covers the latest watchmaking industry news through exclusive reports and interviews, and they produce some of the best watch-related video content on the Internet today.  Under this new partnership Perpetuelle.com's "World Watch Forum" will be featuring new videos produced by TheTimeTV!



Along with this exciting partnership I am also pleased to announce the availability of fully-integrated video on the Perpetuelle.com Forums!  Perpetuelle.com is now the FIRST and the ONLY online watch community which features both professionally produced videos from TheTimeTV.com and user-generated videos!  That's right, You can now insert your own watch-related videos (YouTube, Photobucket etc.) into your discussion threads with our new enhanced forum editor!

Announcing the Perpetuelle.com "Watch Blogger Program"

Hello Perpetuelle.com Members and Visitors!

On behalf of the entire Perpetuelle.com Team, I am pleased to share with you a new and exciting program that has launched on Perpetuelle.com.  The Perpetuelle.com "Watch Blogger Program" is a new program that has been designed and implemented exclusively for the Perpetuelle.com Community.  The Program was developed with 2 key goals in mind:

1) To welcome all "Watch Bloggers" into the Perpetuelle.com Community - and to give them some well deserved recognition and exposure with a voice here on Perpetuelle.com!
and,
2) To bring to the Perpetuelle.com Community some new and exciting watch-related discussion topics!

So how does it work?  Well, it's simple, really!  Look for the blue "blogger" icon (below) in the forums.

This icon denotes a discussion thread that was started by a blogger/member who is participating in the Watch Blogger Program.

In addition, in the forum discussion threads you will also see that we have provided a special "View Blog" icon that is part of a "watch blogger's" Member profile - the button looks like this:


Feel free to click on the "Visit Blog" icon and check out the blogger's website!

Like everything on Perpetuelle.com, participating in the Watch Blogger Program is 100% free and anyone who runs a watch or watch-related blog is eligible to participate.  So whether you already blog about watches, or even if you've been thinking about starting one, we welcome you to use Perpetuelle.com to help you build your reader base and gain exposure for your blog!

Watch Owners, Collectors and Enthusiasts - your time has come!  In fact, you are long overdue for what Perpetuelle.com is working to bring to you - an online watch community with the powerful capabilities and sophistication that you deserve.  An online watch community designed specifically with the unique interests of you - the watch owner, the watch collector, the watch enthusiast - in mind.

"It's about time," you might say, and we wholeheartedly agree. 

If you step back and think about it, you might realize that "Web2.0" has come, and may soon be gone, and it will have done nothing for watch owners, collectors and enthusiasts.  Perpetuelle.com is out to change all that.  Simply put, we are working to do something that has never been done before, and that is to bring the power and capabilities of a social media platform to you and the rest of the online watch community. 

Perpetuelle.com launched in beta in August 2008 with a dedication to elevating the online watch experience to an unprecedented level, starting with a rich and engaging set of social media features tailored specficially to the unique interests of today's online watch community.  For starters, joining and participating in the Perpetuelle.com community is free.  All Members are granted full access to the site's image-friendly discussion forums, as well as a multitude of unique features including a personal virtual "watch box" (with "watch winder" image display), personal photo gallery, friend list, watch reviews, and more.  And all Members can rate and comment on the watches and watch reviews of their fellow watch enthusiasts.  See "who's wearing what" and let them know what you think of it!

The Best Part is, We're Just Getting Started! 

Importantly, this is just the beginning of what Perpetuelle.com plans to offer.  Our approach, to borrow a phrase and strategy from Google, has been to "launch early and iterate."  By this we mean that Perpetuelle.com was launched in "beta" with a lineup of great features and forums that enables this new online watch community to get things started, but with a clear roadmap of features and enhancements that are soon to follow.  Perpetuelle.com recognizes that it has a long way to go, but we are firmly committed to this journey.  We thank you for joining us, and we value your feedback as continue to work to make Perpetuelle.com Your Online Watch Community.

Now THIS is COOL! Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin Watch

Hello Perpetuelle.com Members!

Since launching the site 2 weeks ago, my web development team and I have been busy working on several new features and enhancements for Your online watch community, but after learning about a new release from Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin, I just had to take a break and share some details and pics on this new amazing new watch.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 DBS Transponder



So what's got me so excited about this particular watch?  How about the fact that this watch is able to lock and unlock a car thanks to the fusion of a “functional” sapphire crystal and a miniaturised transponder circuit that serves as the equivalent of an electronic key!  And not just any car, but the Aston Martin DBS – one of the finest sportscars on the road today!

I am also impressed with the AMVOX2 DBS Transponder because, unlike many of the so-called “masterpiece” watches today that somehow can't even tell time, the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 DBS Transponder is a stunning example of a luxury watch maker partnering with a luxury auto maker to deliver a truly functional yet luxurious and sophisticated watch. 


There is, however, one small caveat - the watch is available only to Aston Martin DBS owners, which means that if you want to sport the AMVOX2 DBS Transponder on your wrist, you are going to have to drop $265,000 or so on the car first!

It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of Perpetuelle.com - a new online community for watch owners, collectors and enthusiasts.  Signing-up is fast and free, and gives you unlimited access to the site's easy-to-use, image-friendly discussion forums and much, much more.

Take your time and have a look around the site - we think you'll be pleased with what you find.  Perpetuelle.com offers an engaging set of social media features that have been tailored specifically to the unique interests of today's watch community.  For example, here are just a few of the personalized features that you'll have access to as soon as you sign-up:
